Flogaitis-Sioutis Law Firm (“our firm”) was founded in 1990, with the aim to provide high quality legal services on the entire spectrum of public law including, but not limited to, administrative and constitutional law, tax law, media law, public procurement, environmental and energy law. We are committed to protecting and respecting our clients’ privacy.  In line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (‘GDPR’), our privacy policy describes the personal data we collect about you, and the ways we process your personal data.  By “personal data” we mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘’data subject’’).

When you use the contact form on our website, we collect personal data about you which includes basic information such as name, company and contact information including a physical address, email address or phone numbers; By completing the contact form with your information, you consent to the processing of such data by our firm for the purposes described under IV (uses of your personal data). .

We will not share or disclose your personal data to any third party except from our IT service providers, who are data processors, act on behalf and under the instructions of our firm and are bound to comply with all necessary technical and organizational measures for the protection of your data.

We take all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure your personal data are processed in accordance with the law, and to prevent any unauthorized access, destruction, accidental loss, or damage to your personal data, including use of antivirus systems, firewalls, secure passwords and regular back-up of data. Your personal data is processed in line with our internal security standards relating to storage, access and destruction.

 

VII.      Data retention

We will only retain your personal data for the period required to provide you legal services, or until you withdraw your consent.  We may retain your data for an additional period if required in order to defend legal claims arising during any relevant retention period.

 

VIII.     Your rights

Under the applicable legislation, you have a) the right to access the personal data we hold about you and process, as well as to be informed further on such processing; b) the right to obtain the rectification of any inaccurate personal data we hold about you; c) the right to object to our processing of some or all of your personal data, as well as d) the right to obtain the erasure of your data, under certain circumstances.  Furthermore, where applicable you also have e) the right to data portability, according to which you may request the transmission of your personal data to another legal services provider. Additionally, you may withdraw your consent from the processing of your personal data by our firm at any time by sending an email to the address provided below. In such case, we will delete your data from our database. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
